Basic Overview Edit
|Location||NE 8th Street & 108th Avenue (E Bellvue)|
This is one of the best Indian restaurants in the city. It has a cozy interior, a large menu and modest prices. The lunch-hour buffet is one of the best bargains around. Hoshiar Pahal is a skilled master of the Hindu-Shaman tradition who sometimes entertains his guests with demonstrations of his skill.
The interior is made up to resemble old Persian eating rooms, complete with separate 'tents' and floor pillows
, all pointing toward a center stage where a group of Belly Dancers and fire dancers called "The Sheik-ettes" practice on a regular basis. Otherwise, there are trids of Indian music videos and cultural trids displayed on the stage.
Also, try the curry. It's claimed to be the best in Seattle and no one has refuted the claim yet.
